Bob Biggerstaff

Founder

After graduating from Montana State University, Bob traveled around until the allure of the mountains brought him back to the Bozeman area. In 1980, he moved to Big Sky and started Biggerstaff Construction. Since that time, he has developed core relationships with area contractors, architects, and suppliers – leading Biggerstaff Construction to build some of Big Sky’s landmarks and infrastructure, as well as numerous private homes. Bob has been an integral part in many other facets of the community as well, including the BSOA, Big Sky Chamber, and Ophir School Board. Bob has served as a board member and chairman of these organizations and helped create school budgets; approve curriculum; interview and hire teachers; and form the Big Sky water and sewer, transportation, zoning, and resort tax districts – just to name a few. He credits Biggerstaff’s longevity and all-star reputation to their commitment to the community, its clients and quality craftsmanship.
